The Rachel Maddow Show
The Rachel Maddow Show offers news junkies, wide-awake citizens with a desperate need to know, and liberal stalwarts an edgy 2 hours of hot-off-the-presses headlines and subterranean-buried ledes. It’s a personalized, politicized, exorcized version of the corporate media’s excuse for news. Rachel’s show is a funny, fast-paced news-based show often described as “the headlines, and the politics behind the headlines.”
Rachel is the host of MSNBC-TV's Rachel Maddow Show Weekdays from 8:00 - 9:00 pm and is also a regular political commentator on MSNBC and sometimes substitute host on "Countdown with Keith Olbermann".
Rachel Maddow has a degree in public policy from Stanford University and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University.
She has a background in HIV/AIDS activism, prison reform, and other progressive rabblerousing. She shakes a mean cocktail, drives a bright red pickup, hates Coldplay, and loves arguing with conservatives.
The Rachel Maddow Show currently airs on AM 950 each weekday evening from 7pm-9pm and can be heard nationwide on Air America Media's affiliates around the country.
